"Overall, I would give Berkdale Apartments a 6/10. I thought the apartments looked very modern, and the complex's amenities were outstanding. The gym featured modern equipment, the pool was great, and the complex had plenty of nice walking paths. Another bonus is that the complex is only a 5-minute walking distance from the university.However, there were a few issues I ran into. Within the first few weeks of moving in, my roommates and I had a pest problem, and the leasing office took a while to resolve the issue. Furthermore, when it rained, there was a water leak from the ceiling, and once again, the leasing office took a while to address this issue. I think this apartment complex is alright, but if you're looking for something a bit safer and don't want to deal with a leasing office that often takes weeks to respond to issues, I'd suggest going somewhere else.
