"- Maintenance requests are attended to in a timely manner - Units are big and create a functional and modern living space - Leasing office is very friendly and inviting for residents - Apartment often hosts events for residents; it is an inclusive living space for all UMD students - Great amenities such as a parking garage, gym/sauna, Dunkin' in lobby, and steps away from campus "

"Amazing location and great resources. I would only suggest improvements in appliances–washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. Also I am not a fan of the induction stove, but that's just me. Otherwise, no complaints. The service is fast and nice and I like living near an elevator. "

"Love the apartment and management. Have only really had issues when it comes to maintenance. "

"they advertise emergency 24/7 maintenance, however they are impossible to get in contact with. our smoke detector broke and went off every 30 seconds at 1AM and maintenance didn’t show up until 10 AM the next morning. Otherwise during the day maintenance shows up pretty quickly "

"I really liked living in landmark and plan to live here again next year. The only issue we had was that we had a lot of problems with our apartment (our washer broke 8 times last semester, our smoke alarm went off an entire night, our shower and sink wouldn’t drain, we had mold in our vents, etc) and it was easy to submit a maintenance request, but took a decent amount of time for maintenance to actually come and solve the issue. Landmark finally replaced our washer and dryer this semester but we had to go back and forth with them for a while to get this to happen. Otherwise, the apartment is very nice and I like all of the amenities. I do wish the gym was a little bigger because it does get very crowded. The best part about living here is the location. It’s very close to campus and Old Town, which is very convenient. I do not currently have a care here, but I will say, it is pretty expensive to park your car in the lot here. "

"I love Landmark. I have lived here the past 2 years and will next year. They have the best price to location ratio on this campus. I always feel safe here between the fob system and night time security. Staff is friendly and mostly helpful. Some of my favorite amenities include the zen garden, free printing, the gym, and sauna. Landmark could improve some conditions. They could do a better job at assessing apartments in between tenants. When I moved into my new apartment it hadn’t been cleaned by the landmark staff, and a few things were left up from the previous tenants. We have also had some issues with our HVAC system but that has recently been resolved. Rent is reasonable in my opinion, I live in a 4x4. Water is currently free but rumored it won’t be next year. Parking is $155/month for the regular not premium option, and it is definitely worth it. Garage is connected to building and has super easy access to the building. Packages can get me worried since they get to use parcel lockers but don’t have nearly enough. They will have you come pick it up from the office (through a very urgent sounding text) but there have also been times I have found mine just sitting on the front desk outside (not secure). They do a great job with community engagement and host many resident bonding activities and promote themselves around campus well. Cute social media. Lots of freebies! Can’t be the Dunkin in the lobby either. If you are in Greek life, Landmark should be your top choice since that is where most of us live, and you are the only apartment building that is in old town. Overall I’m really glad I got to snag an apartment at landmark early on in college. Sometimes it’s competitive. I have a lot of friends who are jealous that I live here! "
